Camping and Outdoor Leadership Seasonal Admin
In this role, you will provide general office, administrative and customer service support to our Summer Overnight Camps (Camp Orkila & Camp Colman), and Outdoor Leadership (BOLD & GOLD) expedition programs.
The days spent in the office are focused on phone support and extensive data entry on our more than 6,000 summer participants! Your duties may include entering and/or reviewing the health and safety information for each participant in our database, camper file maintenance, answering phone calls and responding to parent questions/requests, calling parents regarding missing forms or balances due, stuffing envelopes for mailing, organizing and auditing files to send to camp with each new group of campers, cataloging lost and found items, archiving forms at the end of the season and providing general administrative support as needed for our office.
During the months of July and August, office team members also assist with checking campers in at our bus locations in Shoreline, SeaTac and South Lake Union. These check-ins typically fall on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays (depending on the sessions running) and are generally all hands on deck. The remainder of your 40 hours work week will be worked within the normal Monday-Friday 8am- 5pm business hours.
Due to the volume of campers we serve, this position requires a high degree of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You will be a vital part of our summer operations!
