Camp Colman Summer Positions
Minimum age 18
Cabin Counselors live in a cabin with their co-counselor and about 10 campers. Cabin Counselors are responsible for the basic care and everyday needs of the campers in their cabin group for 1 week sessions over a 9 session summer.
Minimum age 20
Village Leaders are responsible for one village, which includes up to 50 campers and 10 counselors. Villages are of a specific age group of mixed gender. Basic job functions include scheduling and facilitating activities, camper behavior management, mentoring and coaching counselors, interns, and counselors-in-training, and communicating with parents as necessary.
Minimum age 21
Assistant Directors provide leadership across all Orkila and Colman programs. Responsibilities include coaching and supervising staff, working with campers, managing the day to day operations of camp, and assisting in problem solving as unique and challenging situations arise. Previous experience working with large groups or managing others in a professional setting is required. Assistant Directors are supervised by a Summer Program Director and perform other duties as assigned.
